Patton Place
In March 2025, THT held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Patton Place adjacent to Rosman Middle/High School. Patton Place consists of three new 1,000 square-foot homes (each with two bedrooms and one bath) that are energy efficient. These homes will be rented to Transylvania County School teachers at an affordable monthly rent for up to three years.
In honor of the generous financial contribution of the late Frank Patton and his wife, Donna, and their family, this housing development is named "Patton Place". This project is also supported by the generous contributions from Sharing House (Transylvania Christian Ministries), The First United Methodist Church of Brevard, Dogwood Health Trust, and the Town of Rosman. Private businesses like McNeely Companies, Appalachian Construction, LLC, and Toxaway Grading have also provided financial support along with dozens of individuals.
